Branding and graphic design
We developed ORB’s visual identity, starting with the logo, color palette and brand tone, which we then applied to ORB’s digital platform, as well as social media assets and brand guidelines.
Our intention was to create a timeless graphic identity with the ability to translate across cultures. Thanks to the use of geometric shapes and interesting contrasts between straight lines and curves, the ORB logo is dynamic and simple while recalling an aesthetic suited for an innovative company evolving in the tech industry.
UPPL’s web team developed Orb.exchange, a responsive website that connects as well as promotes the stories and research of the ORB community, both on the local and international levels. We continue to maintain and manage the platform on a regular basis.
We produced a content program that brings the spotlight to the research and artistic practices of ORB’s members, as well as sourced and delivered stories with an expanded network of local and international collaborators, who are innovating across scientific and artistic industries and leading transformation in the post-pandemic era.
ORB’s creative incubator space in Montreal, as well as its digital platform have served to connect, and bring forth the voices of multidisciplinary and multicultural artists-entrepreneurs driven by a desire to create a world where all forms of lives are valued and respected. Our content and research highlighted initiatives and individuals who have a positive social, environmental, educational and/or economic impact in their communities.
